It's been 6 months since we launched our new website and brand for dataServe. It's been a rollercoaster and we've been very busy managing the flood of leads coming in!
And now the brand has reached its half a year birthday I've been reflecting on my dual role as head of pre-sales and lead designer - it's not normal, but neither is dataServe.
And although my activities could be handled by two people I think it's part of dataServe's success that at the pre-sales stage our customers are speaking with the lead designer and not an account manager with only a high level understanding of the product.
No offence to the amazing account managers and sales people out there! But most haven't lived through the 4-hour design sessions. They haven't been up a 2am writing down the amazing idea that just came into their head. They haven't designed the AI, machine learning and natural language processing that makes dataServe live and breathe.
So, we'll be staying this way for the time being. And I hope my knowledge and experience can be of help to you too during your evaluation of dataServe.
